  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 pound chestnut mushrooms, or other
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 2 tablespoon cream
  • 1 pack ready puff pastry
  • 1 bunch broccolini cut into strips
  • 6 strips cheese, muenster or swiss
  • 1 egg
Directions

1. Heat oil and butter in a pan. Cook onions, garlic, and mushrooms until soft.
2. Mix in salt, chili powder, and cream.
3. Let the mixture cool while preparing the pastry. At this point you could eat the mix over toast.
4. Divide puff pastry in two. Put mushroom mix on one side. Top with cheese then top with the broccolini. Fold pastry over top. Close edges with fork pressed down on edge.
5. Use a mix of one egg with a tablespoon of water to coat the entire pastry.
6. Repeat for the second pastry.
7. Bake at 400 F for 40 minutes.
